Gargoyle: Goalsetter's Block?

This January we have been inundated with articles about New Year's resolutions and goal setting, mostly "How To" instructions for those who know what they want and are ready to implement.

What about the rest if us who are maxed out, burned up, and discouraged from goals gone bad? It's not getting from point A to point B that eludes us; it's getting up the gumption to step up to point A and imagine point B. Everything from our season in life, recent losses, job frustration (for those lucky enough to have a job), market changes, to non-unified marriages, can hold us back from even trying to set goals. The ubiquitous talk of challenges has been contagious.

Gargolye over city

We have coined the term gar-goyles or more appropriately, gar-goals. It's a goalsetter's block. The GAR (like Argh) are all the challenges that de-motivate us from moving where we are now to our ideal life. GOALS form a picture the outcome and demand the steps needed to reach them.
